Additional Service
Forex card issuance and reloading so travellers can carry and spend foreign currency electronically.
At Mythri Forex, we make international travel payments more convenient with reliable travel and forex card services for customers travelling abroad. A forex card allows you to carry and spend foreign currency electronically instead of relying entirely on physical cash or your domestic debit card. We assist customers with both new forex card issuance and reloading existing forex cards through leading forex-card providers such as Thomas Cook, EbixCash, and other available card providers. We focus on three things that matter most to travellers: fast service, competitive charges, and attractive exchange rates for loading your forex card.
Choose a new forex card from providers such as Thomas Cook, EbixCash, and others, or request a reload of an existing card where supported.
Tell us the currency and amount you want to load onto your card.
Our team verifies your passport, PAN card, visa, flight tickets, and other applicable documents.
The amount required to load your card is calculated using the applicable exchange rate along with the applicable forex markup and GST.
Use the applicable payment methods supported for the transaction, subject to the same payment requirements applicable to the forex transaction.
Once verification and payment are completed, the new forex card is issued or your existing card is reloaded.
Target of within 1 hour, subject to complete and valid documentation, card/provider availability, currency availability, successful payment, and required verification
This service is offered at every one of our Hyderabad branches.

We assist customers with both new forex card issuance and reloading existing forex cards through leading providers such as Thomas Cook and EbixCash, supporting popular currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, and SGD.
A card load draws on the same Liberalised Remittance Scheme entitlement as a currency purchase, up to USD 250,000 in a financial year, combined across all permitted purposes. Because physical foreign currency is capped at the equivalent of USD 3,000 per traveller, counting notes and coins together, a larger travel budget is usually loaded onto the card rather than carried as cash. Card-provider loading limits, documentation, and transaction eligibility also apply.
Our target is to complete forex-card issuance or loading within one hour, subject to complete documentation, card/provider availability, currency availability, successful payment, and required verification.
Both have a place, and many travellers carry a mix of the two. A forex card lets you spend electronically without carrying large amounts of physical cash, can be reloaded if you need more funds while abroad, and is useful for card-accepting merchants, hotels, and online bookings. Foreign currency cash is better for smaller everyday spends, destinations or vendors that don't accept cards, tipping, and situations where you want funds in hand immediately without depending on card networks or ATMs. Mythri Forex offers both services at all three branches, so you can decide the mix that suits your travel plans and load or purchase accordingly.
